And from Grupo Cuevas we could not be happier with the exchange of ideas, experiences, learning and synergies proposed for the sector. <br \/>The main topics discussed at the Forum were the new measures for the Galician chestnut, the global situation of chestnut trees, the future in the rural sector and the project for the recovery of abandoned farms. From Cuevas y C\u00eda, Roc\u00edo Cid, manager of the company, had the opportunity to explain the commercial needs that we find in each campaign and the importance of adapting to the demands of the current market. For Roc\u00edo, \u201cour chestnut is essential for key products such as marron glac\u00e9 or the Cuevas Chef product line\u201d, so it is very important to work hand in hand with producers to ensure a high quality product that meets international expectations.  <br \/>Another aspect highlighted by Roc\u00edo in her speech was \u201cthe need to recover the space that chestnuts used to have in the diets of families and restaurants.
