An initiative that offers us the opportunity to connect once again the links with training and emerging talent, through the launch of an innovation challenge to VET students.  <br \/>Roc\u00edo Cid, manager of Cuevas y C\u00eda, presented the challenge proposed by Grupo Cuevas: To optimise the chestnut peeling process for the production of Marron Glac\u00e9, with the aim of improving efficiency and reducing production costs. The current process uses a delicate steam peeling system, which allows us to maintain the integrity of the chestnut, complemented with laborious manual controls.  <br \/>During the day, different companies presented their challenges in a general way and then met more closely with each group of students, going into the details of each challenge and resolving more specific questions and doubts.  <br \/>The participating teams, with professional training and support from the Centro Galego da Innovaci\u00f3n da Formaci\u00f3n Profesional.
