Yesterday, Rocío Cid, manager of Cuevas y Cía, attended a meeting of the Agri-Food Transformation Industries, in A Coruña. The main theme of this round table was Food Transformation in Galicia, where Cuevas y Cía is a leading company.
Rocío Cid was able to explain that Cuevas y Cía is a company that has been working with a very special product in Galicia, the chestnut, for 80 years, exporting it internationally to dozens of countries. In addition, thanks to investments in candy, packaging, labelling and waste management machinery, they have been able to favour and promote traditional work in the production of Marron Glacé, as well as in the peeling process.
